Remember years ago seeing a local news article about some guy who had bought a new bog standard Escort III which was delivered with the reg no. CLA55Y, obviously well before the DVLA realised it could make money from these things.

It would look the best on a Jaguar though.

There is this one: D13SEL it's on a Golf SDI. Which I suppose should be "Slow TD" .......... I don't know where I've seen that one. ;)

I saw an old Bentley driving round Belgrave Square the other week and the reg was simply '007' :smirk:

Obviously should be nailed to the front of a DB5/DBS/Vantage/One-77.

Anyone know the law regarding spaceing of numbers and letters on number plates?

I see so many with what I think is illegal spacing but they never seem to be pulled in!

Ive been stopped today (twice now in 18months ) and questioned about my V***VRS plate, which is all correctly spaced I might add! but I am thinking that personalised plates do seem to attract Police attention!

The law on letter spacing, font and size is very specific. There are loads of people with dodgy numberplates. A mate of mine has had dodgy plates with iffy fonts, sizing and spacing for years and has never been pulled, luck of the draw?

Clearly someone has too much time on their hands :giggle:
