if anyone wants pic/vids of any part/feature of the car then let me know and ill post.

It has

rear sunblinds

sunset glass

heated rear seats

upgraded sound system

electric boot (which IS slow but i like it)

Looks great - plus you can easily do some undertaking on the side too! :D

I suppose if you'd known about the brolly, you could have got the dealer to throw it in as part of the deal

Sooo much better than stick on ones. Its great for the boy :)

Even more excited about mine arriving now - I was beginning to wonder whether I'd done the right thing ordering black with sunset glass, but yours looks stunning. Think I made the right choice.

Hi There,

I'm undecided whether or not to go for another Vrs maybe in estate or a Superb Cr 170 Combi Elegance.

As you were a Vrs owner previously how do both cars compare?

Also how can you order the silver dash inlay rather the the Wood Veneer effect when ordering?

Hey,

The VRS was a fantastic car! I would have had another one. But i was assigned a high budget this time round which allowed me to go for the Superb.

Depends what you want out of the car really.

Superb = quieter, smoother, more solid, MUCH better sound system

VRS = Quicker, more 'fun', noisier :D

The only thing i didnt like on the VRS was the stereo

The silver dash inlay is standard. the wood (plastic effect wood i think) is an extra

Enjoy!!

Nice car! Is the upgrade sound system worth the money? emoticon-0148-yes.gif

In my opinion, yes.

I only spent a small amount of time in the demo car without the upgrade. But i'm pleased with the result.

Your car looks very good, congratulations.

I see you got the dark tinted windows. I was put off those on the Superb hatch I had because, on the demo I tried, I felt the already reduced rear visability was too compromised by darker glass.

I'm now looking to order a Superb estate and would certainly consider this option as it does look good and should cut down on the glare for rear seat occupants.

Question is, what's it like on the estate for rear view, especially at night?

I'd be interested to hear your opinion.

Saw this in the flesh at the East Mids meet last night, and it's one gorgeous looking motor car

Very nice choice. B)

I decided against the Estate simply because we bought my wife a new Octavia Estate in June so didn't feel we needed one, also my previous car was an Estate and so I fancied a change. I went for black paint and onyx inside too, with "wood" trim. Originally chose sunset glass but dealer advised against it as he claimed it impeded vision for rear passengers, and my daughters like looking out. Also, the sun rarely shines in Scotland!

Congratulations on your new ride!

Obviously it is a bit darker. i love it. adds an 'executive' feel to the motor. i wouldn't say it gets in the way (parking sensors help there)

I understand the hatch already has visual impairment from large rear pillars but the estate has more glass so is less affected. i would recommend !!
