LIST YOUR PAST AND PRESENT CARS !

Recommended Posts

1. 2002 Vauxhall Agila 1.0 in red, it was so bad it was good!

2. 2005 Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 SXI 3dr

3. 2006 Fabia vRS.

I've also had a Cavalier and Clio as farm cars and then the Agila after I rolled it and wrote it off!

I stripped the Agila completely, it was just a shell and it was amazing for racing about off road. A lack of a windscreen and the high roof made it ideal for doing drive bys on rabbits from inside the car with a shot gun!

FU**ING HELL WHAT A STEP UP FROM THE CORSA 1.4 AND THEN A GREAT BIG THUD BACK TO THE SKODA !!!!

THOSE TOP SECRET SUPRAS ARE REALLY QUICK !, WHAT MPG DID YOU GET OUT OF IT haha

Lol :giggle: Well at the time I was living at home rent free so I got my dream car as I had the cash to throw at it!

When I was driving it sensibaly which was rare! I got around 18mpg But most of the time it was around 10mpg if I was lucky!

I was gutted when I sold her but at the same time relieved at the bottomless hole in my wallet! :o

for eg, 2 rear tyres cost me over £450 that was regular enough being a rear wheel drive super car! I love my skoda if I had the money I would get another Supra but use it in the summer! I think if I had it now i'de be catching the bus everywhere! lol

I will post some pics of it

The good old classiscs  My step sis had a MK1 Escort when she got it it was all original even the wood radio!

there was also seat covers on all the seats which looked like they had been made to fit! We took them off only to find the original black leather seats in mint condition! was well chuffed! She sold it about a year later to some young lad and he ripped all the original bits off and FU***D it up by making it custom! what a waste!

1995 Corsa B 1.2 8v

2004 Skoda Fabia vRS

The Corsa had it's interior stripped trying to save as much weight as possible as it was slow as ****, I've mainly been into bikes (had 2x VFR400RR's, 2x R6's, 1x GSX-R600, etc)... Got the car bug now though.

I started off with a 206 1.1 base model, no pics unfortunately

As soon as insurance would allow i got myself a starlet GT Turbo

DSCF0430WinCE.jpg

then sold that for a 98 Honda civic type R (ek9)

046.jpg

Then i went RWD and got myself a 00 S14a nissan 200sx Running stage 2

the200sx-2.jpg

then went for a guilty pleasure which was a 98 ph2 Peugeot 106 rallye which was track prep'd running 124bhp

and now for the miles im doing i have the Fabia :)

Ha nice aldo! I want to drive all of those cars at some point! I was very close to buying any one of those last year, especially an s14a. I went for an '04 type r in the end. What did you think to all of them?

I love the ek9, really quick down a twisty road. Amazing handling having the factory LSD. Unfortunately i sold it to a good friend who hit a a deer and the car got written off!

Im planning to have another nissan Silvia/200sx in 2011. Really good fun (not so much in the wet) and nice to cruise along the motorway in too!

The rallye was an absolute riot to drive with a set of advan A048's, shame its french and unreliable! lol

liam6: liking your 106 xsi, totally underrated fast little cars!

Cheers mate, like you said in regards to your old rallye, the 106's are great fun and handeled like a go-kart. Not so sure about it being un reliable tho. With my 4 years of driving peugeots not one of them left me stranded by the side of the road and ALL the electrics worked in them which i admit was super rare! haha!..

I was allways after S14a or a saph cosworth, it was a toss up between a S14a and the octavia but having read various stories about the S14's, rust, VVT issue's etc i opted for the octavia for a more "simple" moroting life if you get what i mean?...

The heart of my old XSi, Newmans fast road cam & shaft, pugsport 4-2-1 manifold, S1 rallye inlet blaa blaa...Used to pop and bang with the odd flame here and there. Only sold it because it was overfuelling like crazy and couldn't be bothered to get it sorted properly. I do miss it tho, more or less a track car.

it was bushes that let me down and the old not so faithful rear beam! lol loved it though

I would recommend the nissan (SR20DET) to any petrolhead all day long! Mine was running FMIC, nismo injectors, walbro fuel pump, manifold back exhaust sys, blitz intake, profec boost cont, H-dev remap, 10psi low boost/18psi high boost. Used it daily and never had one problem. Its still going strong with the new owner! Im hoping for an S15 come the summer time!

That would have been a really quick xsi!

Dont say that buddy, S14a's are lush. I found a really nice one in the same colour as your previous one before i bought the octavia but it had gash cloth interior but had something like 66k on the clock. Rang up about it and it had sold an hour before i did so :(....

Ford Taunus 2.0 V6 (1966 L/H ex German police car) Great first car in 1979, only had a few weeks when hit by 32 ton artic, cops said if been in Escort would have engine on my knee, saved my life that car, no one would repair it, got wrote off but mate in work (Stig) who had garage at the arches (Liverpool Docks) came to my house, looked at car, when i asked him could he repair it he said its metal i can fix it, so to cut a long story short i got what parts i could to replace smashed stuff and Stig straighted everything else out, and resprayed the car Venetian Red, ended up in pocket even after everything had been paid out. Stig's long since passed away but he was a brill body man.

Ford Escort Mk2 1.3 not bad

Ford Sterra 1.6 spent lots of time on this, bunged it full of 15L Waxoyl, wont have rusted away that's for sure

Ford Fiesta 1.8D good car, noisy but good

Ford Fiesta 1.25 Zetec very nippy, lots more resposive than the 1.4

Ford Fiesta 1.4 Ghia X slow compared to the 1.25

Daewoo Matiz, ok ok i know, don't laugh it was a good car just wouldn't pull you out of bed

Mazda 323 2.0 Sport, luved this car, had from new 2002, changed it in March this year for the SE, only done 29k, Absolute Mint Condition, one of the lads at the Skoda dealer snapped it up where i got my SE

Skoda Fabia vRS SE mapped by Ben at Shark Perfomance, God this one is fast now, absolutely luv this car, it's sheer enjoyment to drive and looks great too, won't be changing it for the new vRS unless Skoda give the option of a diesel and stick gearbox, don't like the paddle shift thing, had a test drive, it's a no no for now............
