CTR doesn't look typically jap. It's got a glorified people-carrier look. The Civic from a couple of models back looked Jap. CRX looks Jap. N350Z looks Jap, as does the Skyline.

It looks good and fairly aggressive from some angles, but lower suspension, big wheels, sideskirts and spoilers will make any car look aggressive.
