A Petrol Engine :-p

R8 oil cap and cap for the coolant reservoir (I only had the R8 oil cap)

K&N or Greenfilter and take the leaves filter out of the bottom of the airfilter box.

Chrome rings for the mirror adjuster, the climatronic wheels and the headlight switch surround.

TT lower control arms, rear anti roll bar and a WALK. then a mahoosive smile when you realise how pants the standard handling was

If you stay with the std ride height, a good set of Bilstein shocks.

A Petrol Engine :-p

Hahaha :giggle: , I do agree-but it's a company car, & here in Ireland we can't claim VAT back on petrol, only diesel, because we have a very narrow minded, useless govt. Hence I have a derv-mobile. :)

HID'd were very straightforward-only slightly out of the ordinary bit was drilling a 25mm hole in the plastic cover at the back of the headlight to allow the wires to pass through to the ballasts. A rubber grommet is supplied to seal this though & looks fine. Otherwise, all plug & play. I went for 4300K, as recommended by someone on here-well chuffed-OEM look & match with LED sidelights & MTEC foglight bulbs really well. Not tacky looking like some can be!

As for photos-I'll post some when I get around to it-might have more stuff to do on the car first...........! ;)

Oh. :o

Coilovers

Porsche brakes

Leather interior

Nothing too expensive

Hi

Get the chrome grill surround colour coded and put the chrome bits you have added onto ebay.

This is just my opinion i think the chrome takes the look away from what is obviously a well loved car

Regards Whoosh

Considering how much you've spent on it, by my guesstimate, how about a BMW D3? Otherwise, if you're planning on spending any more on it, the D3 Bi Turbo.

Just in case you were not aware the fine for illegal number plates is now £60... So the next mod I would reccomend is some UK legal plates! :-)

I'll bear that in mind if I move to England.................................. :p ;)

I was also going to say a petrol engine too, either of the 1.8 or 2.0 TSI engines (ie the EA888) engine as stroke is the main difference between these 2 engines.

If I lived in a country where diesel was much cheaper than petrol I would consider having a diesel but it would have to be a 5 cylinder or more one as IMHO even the CR sounds rough and is significantly slower than the petrols.

Then we are just about to be robbed by our so called Government like you have been for errors made by our bankers. Fuel will be £1.30 per litre ie well more than 1.50 Euros per litre. Luckily I have a company fuel card where I only pay for the tax on what fuel I use ie about 6p a mile!

Looks good, must keep an eye out for it when out and about in dublin, im waiting till my warranty is out before doing anything major

You may have noticed, but everything I've done has been "reversible", should I ever need to. I wondered about going with black wheels, or getting them powder coated, along with a black grille surround etc., but there would be no going back easily! There's a race blue hatch around my way with black wheels & grille surround-looks stunning.

I think you should take the chrome mirror covers off....

....and sell them to me!!

Where did you get them?

Will they fit an FL model?
