Sadly you've just missed our little weekend p*** up and track day at Ty Croes, end of November.

Great weekend, think there was an Evo there actually IIRC, also seem to remember hauling it in in my Citroen 'Saxo' as the lads in here seem to like to call it.

No worries though, as I've got a little feeling in my whiskey flavoured water that we'll all be hearing about another little bun fight coming up shortly. Can't say where though, but you WILL be coming...no excuses! :D

Similar torque to the Evo and a lot less weight and cheaper to run!

Mac. :)

You'd be suprised just how heavy it is actually..1220 kg or summat like that.

Cheaper to run..defo, and only group 9 insurance too!

Im currently running somehwere in the region of 200 bhp and 340 lbft, this is what it achieved on its last rolling road run but a few improvements have been made since then, and there are a few more to come. Limiting factor is now the clutch, it should be fine once an upgraded item is in place, its an upgrade that is needed at these torque figures.

As I found out this evening as I went past a 3 door Sierra Cosworth on the A45, he didnt like the fact he been over taken by a Skoda so he put his foot down, I was with him for a fair while but then the old clutch started complaining whilst in 6th at peak torque so i backed off and let him go...this time :)

Ross! Can't you find a better back drop than this one you keep using, it really doesn't do it justice. ;)

Thought your's was pullin' 220bhp, sorry about that. :o

I know, sorry, im waiting for some nice weather so I can venture out somewhere pretty.

This was good.....

Wow ,I knew the Evo was light but theres not much in it between the two. I thought the Fabia would be under 1100 kg! My Evo weighed in at 1290 kg wet completely standard. (the first thing I did when I got it was get it weighed, sad eh?)

That looks like a very familiar road to me..travelled on it New Years day in fact...in the lashing rain/sleet.

Road out of Capel Curig going towards Llanberis/Penyy (sp) pass by any chance?

It is indeed Colin :)
