My New Fabia VRS Hatch

Featured Replies

Well picked her up on Monday and have been completely blown away from day one. Having come from a Civic Type R was expecting to notice the 20 BHP drop but not at all infact if anything I find her quicker, more comfortable, better built and the DSG really is something else. Had a lot of fun in her round North Yorkshire the other day the power is very smooth and you really don't notice the gear changes at all. Anyway thought I'd post some pictures and get a general opinions on the rallye green (had some reservations about it but is a gorgeous colour in the flesh). Apologies for the pictures took them really quickly the other day will post some interior ones if requested.

Yes mate im up the road in Shipley so you probably will can't wait to go on a meet. Got it from Keiths on Canal Road, they've been fantastic delt with Alan, Simon and Chris so big thanks to them.

Looks great!!

Ours is set to be ready in the first week in November

What options did you get?

Looks lovely! Still haven't placed an order but I was going to go for Rallye green with those wheels....still undecided about the black roof.

Wow, i love it, that green is amazing and anyone who says it isnt just isnt dareing enough!

Sweet. I'm (rallye) green with envy. Blue would have been my choice though, but i'm biased.

Enjoy your new toy. Hopefully I'll join the Fabia II vRS brigade when leather interior becomes an option on it.

like that looks mint

You could go for aftermarket leather such as the seat surgeons. Very good company.

Very nice - I like the door mirror covers in gloss black.

Very nice indeed, nearly a year under the belt on mine and I'm still smiling.

Forge do a nice intake kit for the Ibiza, pretty sure it will fit the Fabia.

Too true. If Skoda had the nerve the charge the £1400-odd for the leather in the mk I vRS, they can forget it. Seat Surgeons offer a nice cost-effective solution and it means that I wouldn't have to stump up the cost on delivery. Fine nappa leather anyone?

Edited by Statto

Skoda didnt fit leather seats to the Mk1 Fabia vRS until the runout model SE

I would guess they will do the same again

'Seat Surgeons' may be your only option.

Nice car  best wheels too, just be careful of the lacquer though if it chips, the polished bit tends to go a milky colour

It does look good.

And even that wasnt factory anyhow.

The test drive I had was in the Green, its a really good car and Skoda have up'd the game from the mk1 (dont get me wrong mk1 owners I still love my vRS).

Very quick but it had a hell of a time putting the power down in the wet (but then so do most fwd).

Great pics and enjoy!!!
