skoda vrs with lotus handling

Featured Replies

The Vrs does stick to the road, and handles like a dream, if people are moaning, maybe the problem is down to their driving technique...... :D

Or what they're used to driving and what their expectations are! :P

As everyone knows if you add stickers to a Red REAL RS it covers up most of the red paint work which obviously slows the car down to Evo 1' date='2.....7 and 8 speeds.

The only trouble I have with the red beast is coming down from 170mph, thats the only time the Poobaru's and the ****sabushi's go past me is when i'm braking.[/quote']

Having been in your black behmoth Des, I'm inclined to abree with you. :D

I have wanted to sort the suspension on mine since day 1, (coming from a Polo GTi, slammed on H&R Coilovers), however last night I drove home along the Strines Road in North Derbyshire and jesus, the Fabia was great!

The last time I drove along there was in the stupidly low polo and I almost killed myself, the car just wouldn't stay on the road, every undulation and bump just made the car jump in the air! (anyone who's driven along there will know, it's not the smoothest road in the world lmao).

Anyway, I think I'm going to get some Eibach springs on her when the weather picks up, mainly for aesthetic reasons, but I'm sure it'll help me to get it round corners a bit faster without thinking it's going to tip up.

I think new tyres are probably more important either way.

Probably; I'm amazed at how much difference changing tyres has made on mine
