Yeti Greenline Now AVAILABLE

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

The Yeti Greenline is now available in the UK. You can choose from 3 different models all of which feature the 1.6CR TDi engine as found the the Fabia/Octavia/Superb plus all the other VWG models.

Greenline S £16,150

Greenline SE £17,580

Greenline Elegance £19,405

Specification

The standard specification of the Yeti GreenLine II will be the same as its non-GreenLine versions in all trim levels, except the GreenLine II will have:

16-inch Spectrum alloy wheels (S) or 16-inch Moon alloy wheels (SE and Elegance)

Optimised rolling resistance tyres

ESP

Stop/start technology

Energy recuperation

Suspension lowered by 20mm

Greenline logo on the boot

Options

The available options have been restricted to ensure weight does not cause CO2 emissions to rise. The following options are not available on Yeti GreenLine II:

S trim:

PJE – 17-inch Dolomite alloy wheels

PJA – Temporary space saver spare wheel

PKP – Variable boot floor

RA1 – 12-speaker sound system

PFA – ESP (this is standard equipment)

SE trim:

PH5 – Heated windscreen

PJA – Temporary space saver spare wheel

PKP – Variable boot floor

PFA – ESP (this is standard equipment)

Elegance trim:

PH5 – Heated windscreen

PJA – Temporary space saver spare wheel

PKP – Variable boot floor

RA1 – 12-speaker sound system

PJ2 – 17-inch Annapurna alloy wheels

Now, who wants to buy one off me?

:giggle:

Does it come in any colour, or is it limited like the Fabia Greenline II ?

For CO2 reasons they're only available in light colours :giggle:

Suspension lowered by 20mm ??......ohhh no no no no !!

I like my white hairy carbon footprints me !! (tin hat on ready for the environmental lobby homing in lol)

Hi James

What sort of economy would you be expecting from the greenline? How many horses does it have?

Michael.

Michael.

According to Skoda:

The Å kodaYeti GreenLine with 1.6 TDI CR DPF/77kW engine

has a combined fuel consumption of 4.6 l/100 km and CO2 emissions of 119 g/km.

But I need to convert that into UK speak. ;)

  • Author

It has 105BHP and the C02 is 119g/km.

Combined MPG is 61.4mpg.

There is no restriction on colour choice as far as I know!

For CO2 reasons they're only available in light colours :giggle:

Offset by the heavy temporary spare wheel - what's wrong with gunk? :giggle:

Great news James!!!

I'm especially pleased to see that Skoda UK are offering the transmission with different trim levels rather than just as a single model. (Makes you wonder how much lower the CO2 levels are for the Greenline S as it should be lighter than the Elegance!

I'm suprised that the heated windscreen is banned due to its weight though - is this because the engine has to work harder to supply the extra current perhaps?? And I suppose the sunroof won't be allowed either when it returns.

Chris

105 bhp? Is that enough to get it moving from standstill? emoticon-0136-giggle.gif

Hi James,

interesting that the Anna alloys are not available having seen these rather 'loud' versions fitted to a Greenline (photo from the French forum)

You didn't attach a photo of the Yeti just an attractive girl. There is absolutely nothing else in that photograph.

So you'll have to buy your spare wheel separately at much greater cost. Yet another con in the name of being Green. Of course should you have a puncture that can't be messed up with Gunk, the optimised rolling resistance tyres will be widely available........ :wonder: :D

Spare wheels are already £55 extra for the Yeti, and I see no reason why it can't be added afterwards while preserving the factory fitted CO2 figures. After all there is no restriction on filling your boot with luggage!

Pity you can't fit the sunrrof as a dealer fit accessory!!

Chris

Will the 1.6 engine eventually be offered as part of the standard model range or will it be for the Greenline only?

Can anyone confirm whether the greenline has a five or six speed gearbox and whether the top gear is taller than standard as on other manufacturers 'eco' models? Ie giving nice low revs for motorway driving?

Be interested to know if their still using the 215/60 tyre size on the 16" rims, as I would have thought this profile is not particularly conducive to eco driving.

Just found a couple of greenline badge images on the French forum posted with a picture of a Fabia II FL dashboard not sure why :wonder:

Found the answer to my own question :giggle: yes 215/60 tyres

Also noted that the ground clearance is 155 mm, so not 20 but a 25mm reduction :o

Found some more pics of the GreenLine (without distractions this time :giggle: )

It doesn't look any lower than standard, but it could be me.

Mike

Exactly my thoughts when I looked at the photos earlier

It doesn't look lower, but for some reason the tires look smaller in the photo than the ones on my car?

The photos suggest it's fitted with the 5 speed gearbox.
