Hi Guys,

My pride and joy has been nicked from my drive overnight, if you see the following described vehicle please call police:

LV59 CDX (new shape)

Race blue estate

Has 16" 5 spoke audi wheels on with winter tyres so is distinguishable from any other vrs estates.

Many thanks

Alex

Sorry to hear that :'(

Horrible *insert relevant swear word*!

Hope you get it back soon and without any damage! Do you know if they got the keys somehow?

Sorry to hear your news, will keep my eyes open for it when in your area later.

Sorry to hear your news! :S

sorry to hear that

Gutted for you.

I can really feel for you and you have my commiserations

In Dec 2004 my Land Discovery was stolen from our drive. It was recovered 6 hours later but badly damaged.

Did get it back eventually (6 months) fully repaired.

Suggestion: You could ask your local Skoda dealers to notify police if someone orders four 18" Neptune wheels

Sorry to hear about your car.I thought it was impossible to steal a car now days without the keys did you not hear the alarm go off.

Sorry to hear that. How was it stolen?

Get it on www.twoc.co.uk as well - it can't hurt getting as much info about the theft out there.

You really have my sympathy.

Really feel for you ,I had my car stolen in 2003 a civic type r but they had to get the keys from in the house. How have they got your car?have you been burgled ?as that is a double whammy.

made me feel like **** for ages.Hope you get it back in one piece.

Sorry to hear about your car there is some scum out there.

If they are willing to nick a car then I reckon they ain't going to wander into a Skoda dealer and pay full whack for a set of alloys.

Really gutted for you. Have you any pictures?

Do you know how it was stolen?

Hey,

what a day. they broke in to get the keys, just took the car though. insurance company is good but with a key theft they are a little more 'sceptical' gave some probing questions. police have been as good as they can but ultimately it'll be in a container heading to some eastern block country to be stripped... this will be the second time they came to have it away they came 366 days ago as well... probably different scum that time.

insurance co. don't give hire cars to theft victims, so have today delt with the police insurance bought 2 new prams, 2 new car seats and a temporary car. which i'm glad to say is another skoda - 1999 felicia estate in blue like an old crappy version of our octavia, finger crossed it'll give good service till ours is paid out.

In alot of ways i dont want it back, as it was still showroom condition when they stole it and it wont come back like that...

one long ass day.

i'll put it up on twoc thanks wardy for the link.

You have my sympathies mate. As a victim of a similar crime I do understand what you are going through. :(

My sincere sympathies!

Hope the insurance goes through quickly so you can get back to where you should be car-wise asap!

Good luck!

that realy sucks, hope the claim gets sorted quickly for you.

About 8 years ago at our previous house they kicked the stone slab off the wall and threw it through the rear kitchen window ( 6 by 4ft)at 3.30 in the morning, so not a quite brake in , My wife had left her handbag by the window, for some reason I looked out of our bedroom window, and saw a skinny lad by my wifes New car waiting I screamed down at him I am going to rip your face off to which he ran followed by two other lads( thank god they ran as I would have been in trouble with 3!. Kitchen window worktop and a door all damaged . Keys recoded cards cancelled, but luckily no car stolen. We are vigilant now keys hidden, although I had to warn my wife the other day as she had cds on show. I do hope you have a speedy resolution

Me too..Dreadful situation

Was it in its first year?

Our was....so the Insurance company paid for a new Fabia Sport

Good luck

Sorry to hear about the bad news. However, with the loss of the 0% VAT offer on diesels and the long lead time it may unfortunately be a long time before you get a new one.

It looks like you're data is incorrect on that post. the Car was stolen from Harold Wood, Romford. Not Colchester and it'll be the Met Police dealing, not avon and somerset.
