Boot dimensions - For pushchair

Featured Replies

Just need to check whether a standard pushchair will fit. Visually the boot space looks ok for one but nice to know for sure. I guess it may have to go diagonally?

Mine have grown out of a pushchair but a golf bag does fit diagonally if that helps. They must be a similar size. One thing about the Yeti is that whilst not deep, although it is slightly deceptive, the boot space is very good vertically. The first thing I did was remove the parcel shelf so I can use the whole amount of space.

Go into your dealer if necessary, I went in with a golf bag, trolley and suitcase to check the dimensions out. I got some funny looks but it was key as to whether or not I got the car.

It may help others if you can confirm whether it is a buggy pushchair or a bigger version for babies.

Its just a normal pushchair for a 2 year old... Sounds like it should be ok as I play golf as well and they are about the same length......

My Grandson's (9 Months old) pushchair fits nicely with the parcel shelf in place.

Plenty of room for a pushchair but not for a Rolls Royce kiddi wagon. Our grandchildren's push chair lives in the boot when they stay with us and we can fit in all their luggage as well.

The secret of the Yeti boot is think vertically. Be prepared to pile softer, lighter stuff on the heavier pushchair.

These days I don't think there is such an animal as a 'normal pushchair'

We have a chunky 4 wheel Graco and a less substantial but just as long Hauck

that are a fairly tight fit. I think length of pushchair would be the limiting factor

although it is amazing what will fit if you attempt to fit in a top to bottom diagonal

fashion.

It may be able to be loaded but would it still accept other items you need to take

with you.??

I think you need to take it to a dealer and try it as they also come with lots of bits

and pieces (pushchairs and boot space) that may compromise fit.

Most dealers are very accomodating!!

Probably not a good idea to put the stuff that won't fit in the boot in the rear passenger

area as you probably also have 1 or 2 child seats fitted.

Our car also has spare wheel fitted.

Bear in mind if you have asked for the Spare wheel option to be fitted you loose around 2" of boot height

which may reduce the available length of any diagonal fitting of your pushchair if it only fits that way.

We have a spare wheel fitted and there's still space for a Bugaboo with the parcel shelf in place. To take the buggy plus a kid's bike is doable with parcel shelf removed.

tipper,

just been out with the ol' tape measure.

width between the wheel arches is 100.5 cm

depth, front to back at boot sill height with rear seats all the way back, is72.5cm

height, with low boot floor and no spare wheel kit, is70cm

hope this helps

Cheers for that :)

A Bugaboo Cameleon ( a fantastic buy, but that's another topic!) does fit if you take the seat off, though there is not much room for too much else.

We have a Mclaren stroller as well that lives in the car permaneteley and this fits really well lengthways across the car. It fits nicley bewteen the wheel arches and is out of the way.

I do not have the spare tyre.

Hope that helps
