How much do PS3s come with new then? Anyone measured?

Is that ALL KwikFit branches? As in a company decision to pricematch any price? Mind you as I often pass my local branch, whether I'd trust them to fit them and not mark the alloys is another matter entirely...

Blackcircles are doing the PS3's for £151.80 fitted per tyre.

That's £29.80 per tyre dearer = £119.20 in total - fitting will cost about £50

Yeah, not exactly a good deal really....

And the 225/45/17 Primacy HP Michelins for my car are approximately £140, each nowadays. Only cost me £106 last year. WTF Jimmy, as they say in Scotland.

NOt sure how long ps3s have been about. but they came on my car.. was an ok tire to begin.. i can remember now that when i first got the car i posted about the tyres as they were struggling for grip..

After awhile they where fine.. maybe becuase it was dryer and less oily substances on the road?? who knows

Camskil were going to do them at 126 x 4 +£10 delivery. or get my dad to pickup on way past work then fitting at £7 (else where £12.50 each corner around here)

Shame i couldnt wait for the costco deal

Ended up payin 108 a corner for the F1s *staff*

i wouldnt mine seeing whatthe new conti 5s' are like. but they are only merc specific at mo IIRC

Right decision Bryan, you wont regret it.

Goodyear F1 Asymetric has been replaced by Goodyear F1 Asymetric 2

Claimed to be quieter and more fuel efficient

Can not find any prices yet

I would wait till I post Michelins response to my "damaged ps3". After 1300 miles mine was a write off. Michelins customer service is pretty much down right insulting. I have asked the chief exec to call me and explain why such a premium tyre fails so soon. Check google for sidewall bulge problems and your eyes will pop.

Used to get my tyres there. I got two VUS's from Alba at the end of Stonefall Avenue the other day. 109 each fitted. Significantly less tyre noise than the orig Conti's.

I got around 18K out of the front on those though. Don't think I will get anything like the same on the Vreds.

I had 2 Vreds that i got last year to replace 2 of the OE Bridgestone's, and have had winters on till the other day but needed to replace the other 2 bridgestone tyres so i was in the same situation, which to choose but i went for 2 PS3's and have put the 2 vred's on the back now :)

got the ps3's for €133 fitted in dublin  vreds would have been €115 so for the sake of €18 should be worth it
