im not sure if thats what its called but the little box on top of the turret with the vacuum lines coming off it has started to buzz when i turn my engine off, i know its that as i opened the bonnet and lept out and i could feel it vibrating for about 10 seconds id say after a decent journey and i turn my engine off. anyone got any ideas? im sure its never done that before??!!

is it like a dull humming noise, that fades just before it stops ?

It buzzes/hums for about 10 seconds to hold the anti shudder valve closed, but only on the ASZ engine. The BLT engine ASV is electrical.

As long as it's not too loud it will be fine. These vacuum control units do fail, but not that often.

It will still buzz slightly on a BLT engine, as the vacuum unit still has the valve for ASV but it's blanked off.

Mine buzzes when the engine is running but not when I switch it off it's a BLT engine also.

Ye it does it 2seconds after u turn the key off for about 5 seconds, I definately know its that as u can feel it vibrating, what's causing that then chaps as its only just started doing it?? I presume mines a BLT as well with it being aug 2007
