Now I know what Vinyl Wrapping is Trev. Can it be removed without damaged the original paint? and is there a chance that the edges will lift after a while? I'm intrigued.

indeed thats the idea behind it, wrap the car then comes to sell it peel it all off leaving your lovely original paintwork unharmed underneath, so yep it can be removed without damage. Chances are a bit will lift, i imagine the problem place is gonna be the bonnet due to the heat, the rest however should all be okay as all the various outer trims handles lights etc were removed, so in theory the edges are underneath so shouldnt lift. Its does come with a 2 year warranty so any lifting etc will be sorted.

It works alot better on brand new cars with immaculate paintwork, so unfortunately my 6 year old fabia does show some marks through the vinyl thats was on the bodywork, still looks good though

Intercooler looks good, but I can't see how they justify the price

I think Trevor will agree the price he paid was well worth it. Exchanging car parts and abit of practical knowhow, between 2 Briskodians can pay dividends.

By the way Trev, you were quick cleaning and fitting the Forge. ;)

I think marmite has more taste. Should have kept it black.

Sorry dude.

Good work. Like it emoticon-0148-yes.gif

Trevor - let me know what it goes like with the front mount on. Got my st2 map back today from Shark, my word what a difference :)B)

Loving this project :D:thumbup:

i wonder if he used the same map for yours as mine? what sort of map did you specify as your running standard clutch arnt you, as for the front mount it seems to pull abit stronger from 4k to the redline, but it was more for peace of mind then a performance increase

Well I asked Ben and he said that they couldn't just use your map for my car, it has to be written from the map file that I send to them.

All I asked for is that the torque is held at around 300lbft, rather than going for a high peak figure. I am going to try and get it on a dyno this week to see what she's doing. I will just see how I get on with the side mount for now, got a trackday next week so will see how much it suffers then :giggle:

Wow Trevor, loving this car! Really looks great. I like the sticker under the bonnet about the turbo. Will you be showing up at amd on the 8th? I will BUT can't get on to mkivgti's to reserve a place so ill be early showing up! Look forward to seeing this car in the flesh soon! The wrap looks really well done, my roof is peeling after like a week of having it done black and my window pillars don't seem great either.
