A very valid point.

All these expensive premium sports cars use how much of their ability on the road within legal limits? 30%?

I test drove a Nisan GTR a week or so ago. Absolutely awesome! But the realisation was, I'm not going to use 20% of what it can do without losing my license.

And do I want that kind of money tied up in a car for occasional track use? No, not really. Completely unpractical and expensive.

Hot hatches are great value compared to performance, that is not so amazing you can actually use it.

In short, they are more fun per £.

Of course, if you just want to show off, then a premium sports car is great. But I don't think these kind of people are generally atracted to the Skoda brand.

the views are FANTASTIC, just hope for nice weather, as its a bit of a bog at the moment, I advise bringing waterproof sheets to go under your tents!

Its a field behind the farm, we can take the cars on, fires allowed if off the grass, gazeebo's allowed, we will probably have the field to ourselves, 12th, 13th, 14th Aug, there is an outside toilet, and hot and cold running water behing the farm, he is expecting 15 cars but we can add to that no problem, owners name is willy, sons name John, John likes his modded cars, has a nova (I know, but he's young) with a red-top turbo in it (200+bhp! lol..) he runs a tee/icecream stall in the public carpark opposite the farm.

There is NO shop, (It is just a field at the end of the day!) you are advised to bring bog roll, food ect ect..

If showers are needed, there is a campsite up the road that will accomodate as they are 20p for a shower...

Price.. (now hold on, it is the lakes..) £3 per person per night lol.....
