I get the impression that its a somewhat loose correlation between order date and delivery date, but hopefully I won't be far behind you! How long did it take to get a build week?

They said they would ring me 4 weeks after I put the deposit down, I couldn't wait so I rang after 2 weeks and they had the info, dunno why they didnt tell me earlier. But anyhow, they said they will ring me again at start of April to confirm dates.

Excellent. Only been just over a week since I ordered but I'm hoping I get a build week soon. I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas!

Starting to look at little bits for it, for exterior protection, i'm going to get autoglym super resin polish plus Extra gloss protection. I'm looking for something to protect the interior cloth and carpets, any help?! Or any suggestions for other bits to get?

Car's been built, they have a shipping number now, so apparantly I should have it end of April latest, could be sooner.

That means longest it could be would be 10weeks from ordering... That's not bad considering i was quoted upto 18weeks!

I think Motorline share it between the two. If you book the test drive they'll prob get it to Dartford that day. Did that for me.

awesome, i shall pay them a visit soon, i wish they still did 24hr test drives nowadays because it would be nice to see how the car fairs on my commute before commiting.

the 55min test i did in the Greenline 2 originally was on completely flat, smooth and open roads... so i didn't really get a chance to see what it's like on twisty bumpy hilly roads.

Are there many of them around Dartford? Maybe temple hill, twisty and full of pot holes! I test drove it there and did a bit of flat suburban and a bit if A2 - car felt good on both.

well i use the a21 mostly to get to work and back, i'm sure 1.5million of the 2million potholes on the roads in the UK are on the A21.

i dunno Dartford well tbh, i will be in the hands of the salesman.

Well if you've already tested one on open roads, as I think you're suggesting, ask the dealer to take you towards the town centre and try it out on the hills either side. That'll probably give you the experience you want. You could ask to go back via temple hill to experience the delightful pot holes.

Yay, got off the phone from Skoda UK Customer service, they seem to be better then the dealers.

My car in on ship today, 19/04 and should be at the stealers this weekend, ready for pick up next week. Hope the bank holidays don't screw it up!

Not long now, can't wait.

I dont know why It's been so much quicker for me, then some people are reporting.

Yeh, I just rang the dealer, they have only sold one other, which is strange.

My update:

My car has a reg, it's ready to be brought to showroom, but due to bankholidays it may get there next wednesday the latest, could be this weekend.

I'm going this weekend to pay my desposit and hand in some forms, so I can pick it up ASAP.

That is pretty quick. Heard today that mine has been built and as left the factory. If it turns up within the 3 weeks the dealer has suggested, that'll put me on 10 weeks (half the quoted wait time)!

ive now been pushed back to week 21 from a provisional 19. cant believe youll get urs so much quicker :(

That really sucks. Did they say why? Only extra I ordered was the rear parking sensors... dunno if maybe that's helped?
