nope no reason might phone tomorrow and just double check it as the bloke i spoke to didnt sound 100% confident in what he was saying. I only ordered the maxidot as an option i cant imagine that would be the reason for such a massive gap in order times. Who knows! Want my car now ( the wait is killing me)

Well this sucks even harder than first thought,

I experianced my first bit of Skoda 'Uselessness' I rang them today, as they promised that the car would be there today, 4 working days from port to dealer. The car hasn't moved! It doesn't have a consigment number, so it's unlikely they will get the car this week, meaning it will be friday next week before I get the car... possibly...

I can't believe how annoying this is. I feel for other people in the a similar situation.

I think the worst part is the lack of infomation!

**** Just rang Skoda UK, as I was abit fed up, they rang down to Grimsby, my cars apparantly on a transporter on the way to doncaster now, should be there today! Meaning pick up for friday should be ok.

**** ***** My god, how could the dealers get it any more WRONG?

I turned up at 10.30, as agreed to pick up my car, as I pulled into the car park, I got a phone call.. ''Sorry your car hasn't had it's PDI, you can't pick it up'' so I went in, asked what they were going to do for me, all the have done is given me a loan car for the week, not even a good one, they wouldn't let me take the VRS, I have to wait till TUESDAY now to pick up my car, this is like the 3rd mistake they have made, what the hell should I do? It's just stupid, they will have had my money for the car for 10 days by the time I pick it up, nevermind the fact that i'm gonna have to take half a day holiday / long lunch on tuesday from work to pick it up. They didn't even seem bothered!

What the hell? I asked what they were gonna do for me, they just didn't seem to care.

Any advise?!?

The garage have you by the n*ts as far as they think - and possibly do.

I would contact Skoda UK and complain asking for compensation. for loss of earnings,and wrte to the MD of the garage.

Getting quite a few GL2 Fabias on here now.

I've done 400 miles now, it's starting to loosen up abit now and seem to be averaging about 75mpg without trying to be economical.

Think black's the best color. :p I am very happy with it, I think. Looks nice.
