The Moon is stunning this evening 🌛

This little rose bush is only two years old, but already produces an astonishing number of blooms that are still too heavy for its branches - full marks for effort:

And sat doing a bit of gardening, I got the unerring feeling that I was not alone:

Had high hopes for the sunset this evening, but it petered out to nothing sadly. Did spot some ducklings though 👍

 

 

 

A few from yesterday's walk - found a new spot from which to watch the sunset and glad we stayed later as the colours just got better and better🙂

 

 

 

 

 

 

Both the lake and the roof of the car make the most of the reflections!

Slim pickings for photo opportunities this evening, although a huge bug nearly joined us in the car!!

 

 

 

Visited Kedleston today, where we came across the angriest Swan!

 

Lots of Oyster Catchers at Kedlestone too, including a chick!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Realise now how the hybrid geese come to be - never seen this before (and hadn't previously thought it biologically possible)!

We've just had a visitor 🦔

 

 

We had a car show on the local park - no Skoda's in attendance, but lots of lovely examples nonetheless.........

 

The De Tomaso was the star of the show for me 👍

Aww, we have a regular 😎  So regular in fact, I can tell by the sequence our outdoor lights come on.   I think they might be my favourite animal.

 

He/she sometimes brings a mate along and they get loved up - and they're surprisingly noisy!

We've had a few colourful sunsets recently......

Looks like some sort of moth that has been attacked, part of its left wing is missing. Beautiful camouflage though.

Pretty certain it's a Lime Hawk Moth...
