A couple from last weekend - a trip to N Wales. Stunning 2km of glorious beach at 11.30 on a Sunday morning - you don't get it that quiet in the South of England!

A couple from Cornwall last week.

 

 

Managed to catch it just before it disappeared.................

 

We had some pretty dense mist and a lovely sunset on the way home earlier - so pleased we took the scenic route 👍

The Albert never looked so good.  I used to play darts in there in the late 70's.

A couple of Astro shots from last night. These are just single shot pics with a little touch up in the Windows native editor.
I was hoping to get about 45 minutes worth of shots on Andromeda at 30" each to stack but there was dew building up on the lens so it wasn't possible. Dew heater now on order from Bezos.

 

Canon Eos 250D with a Canon EF 70-300mm f4-5.6 III lens held in place at 135mm using a Skywatcher Star Adventurer GTi tracking mount.

We went up to the Smoke today (East Sheen to be precise) to see relatives.  Decided to spend a glorious afternoon at Richmond Park on the way back.  Saw lots of deer 😎 including this one which was right by my car:

 

 

Some pillock decided to offer it some grass.  Like the grass that was immediately all around it 🙄 I was willing it to kick or skewer him, but sadly it was better behaved than the idiot humans around it.

Up in lakes for a few days

Was fortunate enough to arrive just as the sky lit up  - colour had faded within minutes !
