First time I've seen one of these close-up (came right to the edge of the water)

The 747 cargo plane with passing over at just over 2000 feet - impressive sight!!

This evening..........

Late on yesterday evening when it was cool enough for the dog to go for a walk. 

Went out for a trundle on my new to me scooter.  Had a freeloader weighing me down:

 

 

Saw a beautiful slow worm safely from one side of the Cuckoo Trail to the other:

 

 

Big shoal of little fish:

 

 

And more geese than I've previously seen at this spot.  Think they were hungry so I didn't stay too long, in case they got any Hitchcock-esque ideas:

A few from last night. Was fortunate enough to be looking right at the Heron when it caught a fish!

More birds this evening, along with a yellowy orange moon......

10:57pm: Unannounced QM site inspection reveals need for much improvement around housekeeping:

 

 

 

Although external glazing appears satisfactory:

Made the rookie mistake of looking up, but happily didn't get pooped on!!

Not posted in a while here, changed my gear had a Canon 5D4 for a while which was superb, now gone mirrorless with an R5 and some RF glass. Taking a while to get used to it. A few shots below.

Flying tonight, from my patio:

 

 

All over in 20 minutes, but was mesmerising watching them fly up into the evening sunlight.  Reminded me of glowing embers going up in the smoke of a bonfire
