The mounting looks like this

They are all now painted and the cover has had some trim fitted to it to make the bottom edge nice and neat.

Weight won't be to much really its only a thin bit of tin.

n/s chassis leg is pretty much stripped down now with all the seam sealer removed.

I didn't know if you were going to be removing anything else to make it a bit brisker.

it's hard to see how that engine is attached to the body?? is it bolted to the subframe like on a mk3 golf?

Standard Ibiza arangement ont he drivers side, standard dogbone mounting to subframe and a custom mounting on gearbox side. The standard mounting did fit I just didnt like the look of it so now its bolted under the chassis leg instead.
