I've decided on body and roof colour but can't make my mind up on the alloys.

(Keeping my fingers crossed for a post build week 22 car with the 'black pack')

:giggle: I originally would have gone for the Dark Chrome alloys, love that style, especially with the dark shadow but comments on this forum about the quality, high refurb costs, etc. really put me off. :(

My dealer hasn't had any come back yet and I told him about the ones on this forum. Said he'd keep his ears open for me.

Personaly I went with the black wheels as I felt the silver where too boy racer.

Thing is do you realy want the black wheels for £110 pounds worth.

Dark chrome every time

White car you got to go for the black wheels they look so good on a white car B) go for the black wheels

rob

white wheels

Definitely silver wheels, even though I'm in the minority. :giggle:

I've ordered dark chrome with my polar white

Another vote for Dark Chrome. That is the colour I ordered for my white vRS.

Im bias as i actually have white wheels but i did see white wheels on a white vrs demo at a dealer and they do look very nice on it.

+ its different as everyone it seems has gone for black or chrome. I also think it makes the wheels look bigger as well

Dark chromes are the nicest finish full stop. Black suits certain colours very well (certainly with matching roof) standard are dull and sorry but I think the white ones look horrendous.

lol :)

Got to agree... althought standard ones look nice on a red car.

+1 All wheels get scratched sometimes. Best to have a colour similar to the metal underneath. Also, black alloys look like steels with the wheel trims fallen off.

Haha only if you've got cataracts!

+2 Silver looks the best, really don't see what the fuss about the black wheels, they look really cheap and the wheels look smaller. Dark chrome's look awesome too, but then won't last well if chipped.

I've got the same dilemma. Ordered my Candy White vRS on Thursday (the last day of the VAT free offer?) and went for black wheels. Now i'm not so sure. I agree that they tend to make the wheels look small. Trouble is i've still not seen a white vRS in the flesh so am only going by photos. My test drives were in a green vRS and a blue one. Now tempted to change my order to dark chrome wheels B)

Trans City, Walthamstow, North London have a Candy White vRS with black roof and silver alloys.

Motorline, Dartford & Canterbuary, Kent share a Candy White vRS with white roof and black alloys. Ring to check which location it's at before you visit though.

Should either of those be close enough to you.

Haven't rekindled my original interest in the Dark Chrome alloy but thought I'd knock up an image with all three options alongside each other.
