Hi everyone,

Since I'm off college in Glasgow for two weeks, I decided that while I was home for the holidays I would take a trip down to South Uist to visit family. The weather wasn't the best, but here's a few photos :)

Some of them are excellent, and no scameras up here yet either (not that I condone speeding...). The good ones have lovely bends and camber and gradient changes. On the other hand, many are as badly surfaced and broken up as anywhere else on the mainland, and weather conditions can make things tricky.

If anyone's thinking they'd like to see the Outer Hebrides, just do it. It's not that far, the journey is spectacular, and it's nice and easy with the CalMac ferries. And the natives are friendly... ;)
