Well folks, i've had my Blue Flame system on my Octy RS for a week now and it's awesome . They told me i would gain 17bhp once it was fitted which i chose to disbelieve, however i take it all back, it's there. The engine revs much free'er and she pulls so much better.

Went for a break from the norm also and chose a 4 inch round tail pipe. Anyone considering an exhaust should certainly bear Blue Flame in mind.

Do they only do custom exhausts for the Octavia - or do they produce an off-the-shelf replacement exhaust?

What kind of price are they?

I believe they do both. You can buy off the shelf, or i went down and they built it on the car while i waited. I was able to choose a different tail pipe etc as i was there.

hmm, sounds good. wonder if the off-the-shelf ones have as good power gains? They're a long way from me and probably wouldn't justify the travelling really - although they mention that they sell to Jabba and I'm off there soon, might have to ring htem and find out if htey can help out.

Well worth the drive, I live in Hampshire so it was a bit of a treck but you save a fortune & the quality is excellent. I just dont know how they can do it so cheaply. Mine was

To be honest I don't think you'd get a great deal from just a cat back...perhaps 10bhp max.....expect you would get more gains from dp and cat.....more torque than bhp though.

4x4 tend to give more with just because of the duel cats I believe....dp are custom as the have to miss the transfer case...different to the non 4x4 dp.

You will see an improvement when you change the exhaust but to get the max improvement you will need to get the map tweaked. If you are thinking of any other mods to trhe Engine get those done as well before you go back to Jabba.

the system is not loud at all. When the engine is idleing there is a nice deep burble, but when driving, you can only notice a slight sound difference, bit deeper really
