Money no object

Featured Replies

Just as a theoretical question......if you had a bottomless pit of money to spend on rebuilding your vRS what would you do.....I know that "buy a Ferrari" would be a common answer. I have years of experience modifying petrol cars, but non at all on diesels. In my 36 years on this planet the car I purchased a week or so ago is my first oil burner...do they respond well to high lift cams for instance....big turbos...bigger injectors etc etc

If you had a million to spend on your Fabia...what would you do?

PD160 intake

RARB

312mms.

Then spend the rest on coke and strippers!

Engine tuning wise:

. Tubular exhaust manifold

. GTB2265VK hybrid turbo

. 3"Turbo back exhaust, no cat, silent backbox

. Custom intercooler, same dimensions a Seat, but bar and plate.

. Hardpipes

. 4 bar map

. Bosio injectors nozzles

. Diblas cam

. Jabbasport headwork

. Bigger valves

. PD 160 intake

. Green air filter

. Remapped to suit.

Then water meth injection to keet EGT's low, Spa Oil temp/Oil pressure gauge and boost pressure/EGT gauge.

R32 3.2V6 engine, 4 wheel drive + all the trimmings... breaks etc.

Oh and then add an S2000 body kit

Give it to Ben @ Shark, tell him i want 300bhp,enough torque to spin the world and make it handle like an Ariel Atom :giggle:

Oh,and with the change i'd buy myself a Koenigsegg

Wrc body kit, extend track, rose jointed, fancy diff, gt2260, fancy seats and handed over to someone to sort the suspension.

sell it, by a mk2 escort and spend the rest on it :giggle:

turn it into a excat replica of a WRC Fabia.

turn it into a fire spitting rallycross car up to 500 bhp and 4wd :)

buy the wrc car.. simple

I'd try and get someone to fit the five-cylinder turbo'd 2.5-litre TFSI 335bhp engine from the TT RS, and the quattro system to go with it :)

Marc

I wouldn't touch the vRS - I would go and buy an old S4 Audi (2.7 bi-turbo), a 1.4 fabia, and then combine the two with some bonkers mods to the S4 engine & drivetrain. Aim to make a 4wd Fabia somewhere in the realms of 600 to 700bhp. :) If I won a significant amount on the lottery I would be doing this like a shot. The two cars would be cheap to buy, but the modding wouldn't for sure. :D

Yup, as has been said before, Ben @ Shark Performance would be the first person I'd call, but not about the vRS. First thing I'd have would be a big big power Lupo, badged up as a 1.0L, maybe with steelies and hub caps too :giggle:

Send it off for a 2265VK hybrid turbo conversion, probably looking at over £10k to get the full potential from the turbo, reliably & to sort everything else out to suit over 300hp.

Spend £1.31 on a litre of unleaded, set the Fabia on fire, then spend the rest on commissioning a Lamborghini Estoque.

I shouldn't but I lol'd. :D

I'd rip out the back seats and replace them with a mid mounted hayabusa engine driving the rear wheels, then replace the engine in the front with another hayabusa engine driving the front wheels, sure would be expensive but I know it would also be a box of frogs to drive!!! :p

Oh and of course a roll cage to stiffen the whole thing up!

a Smart car with a one engine conversion!!!

Weld the back doors up and graft some ibiza doors on it?

Then do away with the diseasal :)

Id keep it a it is [maybe add a few extra torques] and use it economically for work emoticon-0110-tongueout.gif.... oh wait a minute i wouldn't be going to work if i was loaded emoticon-0145-shake.gif..... emoticon-0102-bigsmile.gif

Make a 4x4 version.

I would be soooo tempted to turn mine into a full on unlimate spec rally car with the full on wide body kit..but obvious!!!!.....How about a highly tunned 1.4TSI engine out of the current Fabia...leave the bodywork as normal (still sorted eg stone chips etc) and sort the suspension & brakes etc to match the engine....Street sleeper style!!!!! I`m liking the rally options  .....I think it would definitely be high on my list of things to do...short of buying a real WRC Fabia....although there is a long list of rally cars I`d buy first starting with a Lanica 037

The WRC bodykit for the Fabia looks very cool if not a bit expensive...also a lamp pod to finish it off nicely

not sure what I`d do enginewise...cams, a turbo, custom exhaust and a remap would probably do to start with....not sure about a 4wd conversion...already have a 4wd car and I enjoy the handling of a FWD car, they are alot of fun and you cant get yourself into as much trouble as you can with 4WD
