Rather Confused here

My Octavia PD TDi Vrs uses Vag Spec oil 507 00 and the wife's Fabia MkII Vrs uses 502 00.

I've just been looking at some oil and it states that the Octavia Vrs (TDi) can use oil spec 502 00 and 505 00 and is recommended for Diesels with the DPF

The oil I was looking at was Quantum Platinum 5w-30

Is this Information Correct??

Yes. I use that oil in my Octi TDi and Mrs Stigs Ferbi VRs. I was sceptical at first, but having double checked with the local VAG specialist who services our cars, then i was happy.
