I fancy getting the FL grille done - is it the same paint code for the FL race blue?

Colour coding the grille on the vRS should be factory standard especially on the 'phat' grilled FL.

£15.08 for front and rear each , she thinks the center caps will be around £7 each + some pennies

Not bad at all Alan. If you get a moment, list up the part no. of the front badge, as I'll probably get one ordered.
