VRS rear mudflaps

Featured Replies

Bought the genuine flaps from the local dealer front and back and they fitted perfect on my Blackline. Never took the wheels off and never warmed them up. Don't understand when the dealer said you can't fit to the vrs? Looks good as well. sure has cut down on the mud spray.

  • OEM rears fitted to a FL estate using the correct holes. I think they stick out a little too much so I might reposition with new holes.

The standard ones will fit, with a bit of warming to help it fit, or look into some aftermarket kit such as rallyflapz.

  • Unsure about estates but the standard octavia hatchback ones fit a vrs hatchback. Dealers will tell you they don't (mind did) but they do without almost no persuasion. You can almost talk them on!

Folks, thanks very much for all the advice on this thread. I'm not very good usually with DIY or spanners but. All four mudflaps on my 2011 vRS estate. Took rear wheels off bucket of hot water and some extra holes drilled did the job. Used the square profile knes and tjry look the business.

still confused?

sorry for dragging this up again but i am looking for a pair of front and rear splash guards for my 2012 Octavia vrs estate but there are loads on ebay when i bought the car the dealer said they were 60 pound a pair? sounded steep so said forget that.  i have seen loads on ebay from 9.99 upwards what do i buy?

Splash guards? I'm guessing this is North Eastern for mud flaps!?

Do you want the square or round profile ones?

The square ones are the only versions available as official accessories. Loads on eBay, just add 'genuine' into your search.

You need ones for a MkII. Be aware that the rear flaps (as detailed in this thread) will need some manipulation to be encouraged to fit the vRS.

The round profile ones are factory fitted and therefore only available to order through main dealers as spare parts.

These are currently the cheapest set of front (square) flaps on eBay (£19.99), from a Skoda main dealer...

The rears are a few quid more (£22.50)...

I appreciate this is an old thread now but I have found both the Square and Round profile mudflaps for the front and rear on Superskoda.com. They are the genuine Skoda ones for between 12.99 and 15.99 euros depending on style you want and location. They state not for VRS but as all others have said they will fit.

They do fit on the VRs as stated please drop in warm water so they mould around the rear bumper.

fitted a set to my vrs today, i wanted the newer rounded style so ordered from ebay, they came from eastern europe within a week with no issues.

front were fitted easily with the wheel turned.

rears required wheel removal and soaking flaps in hot water for a few mins to make them soft but they fitted easily, had to make one hole in the liner for the fourth hole but it was easy enough and fixings were included.

heres a link to the ones i purchased

Is there any flaps for the 2011 FL estate vrs that folk have fitted. Front and rear ?

I've got the ones from superskoda fitted. (Rounded ones with a at the end of the part nos)

Had to use a longer bolt on the middle hole to get it to pull in line but fits the bumper shape really nicely

Thanks buddy

Waiting for the delivery of the mud flaps

OEM rears fitted to a FL estate using the correct holes. I think they stick out a little too much so I might reposition with new holes.
