  • OEM rears fitted to a FL estate using the correct holes. I think they stick out a little too much so I might reposition with new holes.

The standard ones will fit, with a bit of warming to help it fit, or look into some aftermarket kit such as rallyflapz.

  • Unsure about estates but the standard octavia hatchback ones fit a vrs hatchback. Dealers will tell you they don't (mind did) but they do without almost no persuasion. You can almost talk them on!

Aren't they pre FL ones?

Yes.

Aren't they pre FL ones?

Yes they are, but after reading this entire thread I've assumed that the newer, more rounded FL flaps, could not be purchased for both front & rear.............have I got this wrong ?

Anyway, still OEM at a good price ;)

Correct, the later rounded profile flaps are available for the rear only.

Not here someone in work bought both front and back from Skoda dealers both rounded, I have the more square ones as per my own logic on the amount of coverage. I had thought the same myself. They cost €22 for both sets all in I think.

The rounded ones were cheap at £13ish, they couldn't find the front rounded ones in my dealership (only the stupid expensive ones that are square).

Hmm, the lack of rounded front flaps has been discussed at length on here.

I'll only believe it when I see them...

The reason for this is the square profile flaps are the official accessories and therefore suffer a larger mark-up.

The rounded profile rear flaps are part of the standard spec on most facelift Octavia's and are available to buy as spare parts only so attract a lower price.

I will take a picture of them on a Blackline :p But they are ordered against cars VIN number and 2 sets came up square all round (expensive) and rounded all round (cheap cheap). I was sure I took a pic of the packaging for part No but can't find it on phone. They fitted perfectly on the front as always lining up easily being able to turn wheels in. Until then you can take my word, or I shall not fetch the part no as well :p

:D In that case it will be up to your dealer scratching their heads at the pictures from the promised land :p The basic logic of the rounded rears would in itself sugest the fronts were also produced. UK says "NO". These came straight from CZ a few days after ordering.

Fubar I believe you and I would love the P/N so I can order some  as the rears are looking a bit lonesome.

I wonder if the part numbers are similar if not the same as the ones I posted earlier in the thread?

I shall investigate tomorrow and failing that I need to go to dealers at some point to order a luggage hook for boot since Skoda started putting only 1 in the dam things :p and I need some locking wheel nut covers. I am missing 2! I can ask them then. They initially only saw the 1 set (square) and order was placed then called back and said there are actually 2 sets for his car (they didnt even reject VRS saying no fit) and one was half the price so went for them. When they turned up they were all rounded much to my surprise. All shall be revealed.

Well as promised here are the P/N's I was sent off that set on EBAY (not sure if there is a 4 digit code missing off the end, in red below?):-

drivers front-1z0821820

passenger front-1z0821819

drivers rear-1z0821822

passenger rear-1z0821821

These are what I have already ordered 1Z0821822A9B9 & 1Z0821821A9B9

If it helps this is what I found out before.

Well by chance I got a snap or 2 but not a part No. Saw packaging for rear ones as KEA 600 001 A and in the square ones are KEA 600 001 so minus the 'A' at end. Then if I change the front part No. for square ones being KEA 600 002 to KEA 600 002 A, adding the 'A' at end and google it I found them listed on a German Octavia forum as the front FL shape ones stating the same with old part No add and 'A' and its the FL ones.

So I am saying Part/Accessory No's are (might be wrong don't think so though):

Front Pre FL (square) KEA 600 002

Rear Pre FL (square) KEA 600 001

Front FL (rounded) KEA 600 002 A

Rear FL (rounded) KEA 600 001 A

If UK dealers are able to see/order these is another matter but they can be from here and I believe they are approx €12 for front set. I was there when the rounded ones went on and they were just as easy as the square ones to fit. Rear just as awkward!

Fantastic find FUBAR  , although you can imagine my disappointment when the email titled 'front flappage' was in fact in reference to a mudflap thread :giggle:

Skoda UK, if you are reading this, you are bloody USELESS.

lol Welsh_kai_boy got the same message from me.

The German thread I found was from 2011, seemed to make sense to be the numbers associated to the parts. When I eventually get around to going back to order the bits I need (same dealer as these came from) I will double check with them and on price, worst comes to the worst I could bring some over to the Mega Meet for anyone who is attending and can't source from UK dealers.

I am waiting for my dealer to call me back so I can discuss it with them I will let you know the results.

Not listed on UK parts system !!

Just had a whinge on their Facebook page :giggle:
