Hi All,,

The Vrs, or dark sponge as he was known was traded in yesterday for a 05 2.2 Accord ,, lost a small fortune on the car since I bought him in February. Too many things to list but latest was head gasket failure ,,, just bad luck. My first Fab Vrs was a cracking bombproof car that I so should of kept.

I'll still be around on here, paid for a years 'Freedom' !!!

It's a shame you ended up with a bad one after enjoying your first one so much! Just goes to prove not all cars are the same. Hope you enjoy the Honda though!

Massive bit of advice to all on here from someone who has lost a lot of cash on cars....

If you like the one you have at the moment and there is very little wrong with it ,,, KEEP IT !!

BTW ,,, the honda is a cracking car ,,, very very different to the Fab, not better just different, its like driving your comfy chair to work !

anyone looking for a vrs ,,,, mine is now for sale at the garage i traded it in ,, they are asking a lot of money for it, they gave me 3800 for it,,, if anyone goes to see it, pm me and i'll let you know the snags that need fixing by them that you could spot during an inspection

Little update,,,,,,

Honda has been a nice comfy car to drive my 120 mile a day commute since september, but my god its boring !!!!

So boring I find myself looking at autotrader ads for another vrs already !!

Anyone wanna swop ??? :'(

I must be getting old - the Honda sounds like my ideal car. Is it a diesel? I miss my 2.2 Civic.

One of the scourges of Greek roads are abandoned motorcycles. Some they have suffered major damage and are not being repaired, some because owners have abandoned them because they no longer want them, other they are stolen, etc. The process to be removed from the from the State takes from 3 months to 3 years. Hi! I'm in need of some help please. My Octavia estate sat for 8 months unused. The battery went flat (AGM Varta) and doesn't charge. I got the car started with a different battery and then swapped in the dead battery to see if it would start charging. BUT, now the engine was running I needed to move the car a bit and found that the gear stick won't go into reverse gear. It can select 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th but not reverse. I've ordered up a new AGM battery (due in a couple of days) but this reverse

Hi Everyone, I have been investigating how I can replace the decorative trim pieces on the console of the O4 (see attached picture (version I would like). The easy part has been figuring out the general part numbers, however I get stuck on the specifics. I know the O4 has two technical variants; one with stock leds and one with RGB leds, and that there is a multitude of different codes for all the different colours/textures. This might be just a coincidence. But I have just had a new windscreen fitted following a rock being thrown up by a lorry's wheels hitting it, which left a small chip, which after a few days became a long crack and was growing. The screen was replaced last week, and yesterday I discovered the seat was not responding to the controls. I cannot see any fuse listed in the owner's manual which states it supplies power to the seats. The driver's seat is working as usual, which made me think it must b
