Time Of Death : 11.35am Sunday 4th September 2011

Cause Of Death: Wet, Greasy Road, Bad Tires(never again)

Oh, It'll Be This Then...

absolutely gutted :( ran 139mph the night before aswell racing an astra vxr. i lost like but he was impressed :p quite impressive for a pd100 i think :)

No cause of death was above in your quote and driving at those speeds with bad tyres.

what 50-60mph? was fine on the rest of the road. clearly a bad spot on the road considering tractors are up and down frequently.

That's really bad news man!

The final demise of my old bumper then aswell!

What the hell did you hit?!

cheap tyres? the fronts look like toyos?

oh and 139mph???!

really long straight?!

down hill?

wind behind you? :)

139mph, faster than mine as mine seems to max out at an 115/120mph (indicated) due to sticking turbo vanes

Aslong as nobody hurt thats the main thing.

Off a cliff? lol, bad news man, at least your unscathed, cars can be replaced and all that. What happened, obviously spanked something quite hard. I`m sure gadgetman will be along soon to close the thread

So you knew tractors where up and down frequently and that your tires where dodgy ( I presume you mean close to wear marks )

Glad you are ok, sorry the car is a mess, but it does sound like too much power, too little skill/ experience/ common sense/ judgment.

At least you can take comfort in the fact your tire didn't let go at 139 mph the night before, (which I will presume was 'indicated' and not call BS) but proves my earlier statement, if you knew the tires where 'close'

Read: Booyakashaa check out my car.

Faster than mine though fella, well done

I had my doubts about those mtec brake discs.

Look at where it broke, right along the groove. :o

Glad no one was hurt. Bet your gutted? You sound like a bit of a Nutter behind the wheel though.

The back alloy should be ok after a refurb- I'm sure it'll buff out ;) Shame about your loss- it's not exactly wise claiming to have done 139mph thou!

Any idiot who boasts about "hitting 139mph", :wonder: racing a vxr and then posts photos of his ruined Fabia following a crash gets no sympathy from me. And yes, I know you were driving at 50-60 when the crash occurred but as far as I'm concerned, your loss is every sensible drivers' gain. Let's just hope you have learned a lesson. You're lucky you're not dead.

+1 on this.

Glad nobody was hurt but come on fella. Even with your mods you have a lot less power and less torque than the astra. Plus your car weighs more too.

Computer says..... no.

Live life on the edge.

+ a bazillion

Muppet.

I never got idiots writing **** like the above... Clearly it was more safe doing an apparent 139mph racing a Astra VXR than doing the speed limit round a wet country road.

Why is he an idiot? It's perfectly legal (and considered safe) in other countries, for all you know it could have been at 4am with no one else (except the VXR) in sight. It's his choice and was nothing to do with the accident what-so-ever.
