Update from Skoda today...

2 New colours are now availiable to order on the Octavia vRS Estate and Hatch from build week 45 onwards, week commencing 7th November.

WAIT FOR IT!!!!!

RALLYE GREEN (same as Fabia vRS)

and

STEEL GREY

What are your thoughts on the Rallye Green?

Steel Grey is now also availiable on standard Octavia's.

It's a fairly big car to be in that shade of green - those are my initial thoughts.

Will wait for some photos to appear though, and then ideally to see one in the flesh. Only then do you get a true idea of what it actually looks like.

Imagine visiting the dealer and seeing a row of bright green and sprint yellow octy estates lined up. Gives you migraine.....

I'll sit on the fence until I see an Octavia vRS in that shade of green. I love it on the Fabia, and think it would look good on the Octavia, but won't settle my decision until I see one in the metal.

I agree with Steve...The Octy is too big for this colour

Steel Grey will look very good though

Could see a 'tweaked' one working, along the lines of those already suggested. And I am still keen on seeing it in the flesh, when they start to appear

Now you see I'm not convinced by this green on the Octy.

It works on the Fabia, but it's a much smaller.

A lor of colours work extremely well in "small doses" but then on a larger car you end up with too much of the colour.

I remember going to buy a car ages ago and loving the red on the smaller model.

Say the same colour on the car we were looking to buy and it was just too much.

I don't see that Steel Grey on the books yet either? Checked the Skoda site yesterday as I was wondering how that would look. I'm thinking somewhere between silver and anthracite in the darkness stakes?
