This question is not as silly as you first think! I'm currently looking to buy a pre-facelift roomster and as a result I'm doing alot of after hours forecourt shopping when I finish work. Therefore I cannot test-drive/start/enter the car and there are no sales people to talk to! Is there any way you can tell if a car has cornering headlamps just from looking at the lens? I've seen some that say "bi-halogen", are these just standard?

Also do all cornering foglamps come in the big chunky style or are they available in the smaller style as fitted to the 3?

Cornering fogs is a vcds week.

Cornering headlights is only on xenons, and not sure was/is a roomster option.

I was under the impression cornering headlights was only a 2010 facelift option. I know I wish I'd opted for them on the wife's Fabia, might have improved the fairly dismal dipped beam. Even my son's ageing Fabia I is better :S

If you can see two headlamp bulbs (per side!) they are definitely NOT cornering. When I bought my Roomster the option was "Curve projector headlamps" which I think included the foglamps. At speeds lower than 18mph the appropriate side foglamp lights on steering or indicator use.

I have cornering headlamps and foglamps on my 2007 model. It's not Xenon.

Cornering lamps have a separate Bug eye that looks like its floating rather than normall fabia/roomster projectors which are a single unit... I can't find a photo on google but if it has chunky foglights it's more than likely to have cornering headlamps because thats the only combo they offered on the early versions (if im right)
