Not a vRS, but my PD100 is on its original clutch and flywheel at 165k miles, been mapped since 140k miles and in a couple of weeks will be getting replaced with a G60 flywheel and VR6 clutch as the original as started to slip

103k on my 55 plate and still on the original clutch. Was talking about this with a mechanic today and he agreed that driven properly, there's no reason not to get 200k out of one.

97500 miles on mine and still fine :)

Still running the original - 48k miles on the clock, 98% of which was me. So I can't vote..

20k with remap / tuning box. Hope to at least double that mileage before clutch needs doing!

90500 and working fine, had a remap for a year of 336lb was fine, still fine with the map i have now.

Might be original or might have been changed in the past, all i know is its still fine with the torque i have now

Changed mine at 104K only because I thought there was an issue with a worn fly wheel. Clutch slipped occasionally but was perfectly drivable.

I'm approaching 113k now...

My uprated Helix Organic clutch lasted 10,000 miles. Well it was good for the first 7k I'd say, last few k it wasnt at its best.

Much like turbo's they are wear and tear items that I change every couple of years.

136500 and still okay...

Mine needed done at 44k, as it was slipping. Bought it from the dealer on Friday, went back in under warranty on the Monday :(

On the plus side though, free clutch, and showed no signs of slipping again when it was sold at 84k miles :)

closing in on 120k!

112k and still on standard clutch. Mix of standard/mapped, motorway, B road brisk driving, few track days. Still holding up fine.

My old Golf IV was on 133ish k when I got rid of it.

PD150, so same clutch but a bit more power.

131k still going

Mine is on 89k and only remapped at 84k. But has slipped on 2 occasions. Both in 6th gear putting food down at about 70mph. Its bizarre slips once goes away for a few months and then happens again.

Nearly 115,000 with no evidence of clutch being changed. I have one of those cheap tuning boxes on the car but all seems good. No intercooler pipes blowing off either.

Well my investigation is over, I sold the car with just over 131K on the clock with no sign of slip!

145k and still going well

Coming up to 100k and as far as I'm aware it's still on original clutch

Mines on 117k and still going strong. Mixture of rush hour driving, b roads and motorway

Approaching 198k, Sachs Organic Clutch which was fitted way back in Sept 2007 - not sure of mileage then* (it was 104k when I bought it 3 years ago)

Checked MOT history - Oct 2007 - mileage was 73,658.  So 125k on organic clutch
