Recommended Posts

1, 1996 (P) Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 Ls, First car died in a head on crash 2 months after passing my test, not my fault but learn't altho of respect for damage cars can do

2, 1996 (N) Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 Premier, Ended up with usual bodykit and big wheels

3, 1997 (P) Vauxhall Corsa 1.4 16v Sport, Lived in this car and thrashed it everywhere but was a real laugh to drive

4, 1998 ® Volvo S40 2.0T, Took some right stick for buying a volvo at 21 but that soon changed after they had been in it

5, 2001 (W) Volvo S40 2.0T, Bought after first volvo died and the car i've had the longest and miss the most, only sold because i blew engine up and couldn't get a replacement

6, 2000 (V) Peugeot 406HDi, Bought as a run about after i blew engine on volvo, still don't know how such a big car could be so good on fuel altho it handled like a bardge, prob still have this if some women hadn't rolled her clio end over end into the side of it and wrote it off

7, 2003 (53) Volvo S40 1.9D, Nice car, altho engine not as good as the HDi in the 406 but just wasn't the car for me as i missed petrol power to much

8, 2001 (51) Skoda Octavia VRS, Missed petrol power but wanted a resonable sized hatch as you carn't get anything into boot of saloons, but it had to be quick without been to garey (impreza etc) and couldn't afford a leon cupra R so got next best thing,

I also have a peugeot 309GTi that am preping to use as a track car, but that has been put on hold due to buying house

I thought 8 cars in 12 years of driving was alot but i feel better after looking at some of lists above,

Just thought I'd add that it's amazing how the brain works - that people can remember such massive lists of how many cars they had, including details like the year, engine size etc. Haha that's impressive! Some of these lists are huge!

Ask someone to remember that normally and it would take days of reciting! :)

Passed my test in 1996, not a huge list due to having years without a car while riding motor bikes.

Vrs obviously the best car by a mile although the mk1 fiesta was fun to drive, shame people kept trying to steal it

1) my dads Talbot Avenger Estate - worst car i've ever driven

2) Cavalier MK2 1,6 L (1980) - Fab car. 1 shock absorber was all i spent on it in 4 years. Not even an oil change.

3) my dads Ford Escort 1.6 GL estate (1986) - 2nd worst car i've ever driven

4) Mondeo 2.0 Ghia (1998) - A comfortable and reliable barge.

13) Subaru Forester STB 2.0 T (1996) - Super performance for a cheap price

14) Audi A6 4.2 V8 (1999) - Very nice, but petrol costs start to hurt about now.

15) Octavia VRS (2001) - Somewhere in the top half of my all time owned list, but not a top three i'm afraid unless you factor in practicality and running costs, then it hits no 1.

shortest list u will see for now :

1. mg zr 1.4 loved the looks and the colour and thought this was going to be my car till now had it for a year as a learner car but never drove it after test due to failed mot and never got it quite running right.

2. honda civic 1.4i 1997 got this just before i passed my test and loved it ok it was an automatic but due to having problems getting rid of the mg. traded the mg in for the honda was a fantasic car and had that for a 1year and a half. but due to handling problems and not in the way u can just stick new shocks on it the body felt twisted so for that reason i had to get rid of it. but on the plus side did seem to get problem turn heads with the backbox it had on.

3. skoda octavia vrs again love my current car does everything i want and more altho just because its a skoda people think it aint all that till i take them for a drive and they change there minds only thing it could do with is a new exhaust and few other bits but not causing issues atm
