Did you get anywhere with getting maxidot fitted? I would like it in my 2011 fl elegance. I have the mfsw so will it just be the display plus fitting and coding? Does the display have to be new?

Dealers can fit new clusters. They can also fit used clusters but won't be able to correct the mileage.

 

An auto-locksmith with the right tools should be able to fit used clusters correcting both the mileage and immobiliser.

A maxidot can be controller by either the stalks or MSFW.

 

As you've got a MSFW fitted, it'll mean the right hand buttons should control it. I imagine they currently do nothing with the non-maxidot cluster?

Hmm right hand buttons control the display does that mean it’s maxidot? I thought there were two types. How can I check?

That looks to be normal. What options do you think you're missing?

That should show up in the 'Lights & vision' section.

 

Do the DRL work at all? If not, they may need activating with VCDS or similar first to show up on the maxidot.
