Hmm RS4 and Fabia vRS estate........ I think comparing the Audi to the Fabia is one of the wildest statements ever!

I think the only cars that fully pull off the estate is an Audi A4 Avant and most of the Volvo's

I've had loads of people asking me about my estate and quite a few have said it's a cool looking car. I'm happy with it, loads of others like it and for those who don't, do I give a f---? I bought the car for me and no one else.

To be honest, Ema, you're not expceted to "get" estates, they are widely descried to be "manly" :)

Only because men have no sense of organisation!

Whatever you guys can get into your estates i could get in a city car...try a 7 and half stone german shepherd, 2 passengers, 2 suitcases and a double duvet in a pug 107

Ah, but is that with the seats down? ;)

I feel I am the exception to that rule as I used to work in a theatre, so had to pack 40ft trailers will millimetre precision! :giggle:

Yeah...

+1.

I think that the fact its taken you until November to notice they were even making the Fabia vRS estate is part of its success. Let be honest, Skoda's, even the vRSs aren't supposed to be cool - that is what Seat is for. They're the slightly off the wall choice offering a better blend of practicality, performance, economy.

I can't even think of any rivals to the Fabia vRS estate?

Norman - that's because there are none!

To be honest though, yours looks better because you've done stuff to it. I saw another Fabia Estate here is Scarborough over the summer and it looked pretty good. It was lowered, had aftermarket wheels on, tints and the grill had been painted. They'd spent time 'defrumping' it and had made a good job of it too. My initial comments were about the stock version which isn't going to go down in the history books as a design classic.

In terms of practical attributes, I agree wholeheartedly with those defending their cars as a load lugger/sleeper/family wagon and have weighed up the estate's dimensions myself. It's not big enough for three children and all their stuff, so it's not an option for our family.

It's a bit of a Sally Gunnell is the Fabia vRS Estate.

What? The Fabia vRS estate is manly yet feminine? :giggle:

Octy hatch( I've got a vRS estate BTW, but have ordered a hatch next)

Superb GOT to be estate! Otherwise you get the back end of an old megane saloon!

Dont think iv seen the estate yet

No spoiler on the estate Octavia vRS

No not on mine, I think that the hatch just looks abit more sportier than my hearse!

Best things about estate are the 2 bag hooks for beer and a lower load area.

I don't think there's much in it space wise...

Nearly forgot how annoying the sliding load cover can be, coming of the rails etc

Superb GOT to be estate! Otherwise you get the back end of an old megane saloon!

That's it exactly! I was trying to figure out which car it looked like. To my taste spoils an otherwise excellent car. I love the estate, hate the saloon.

The Vauxhall Omega was another that just looked odd as a saloon.

What? The Fabia vRS estate is manly yet feminine? :giggle:

Nearly. It doesn't look very nice, but goes well.

I think that's the general consensus for the MK2 Fabia really, looks bad but goes well :)

However, I love the look of mine so :p

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder!

Love mine too. Mine is the only other vRS estate I've seen about so it's nice to have something exclusive

What are you comparing the fabia?

Fabia I VRS - C30 D5

Fabia 2 VRS - C30 T6

Octavia Hatch VRS Petrol - S50 T5

Octavia Estate VRS Petrol - V50 T5

Octavia Hatch VRS Diesel - S50 D5

Octavia Estate VRS Diesel - V50 D5

Superb Saloon - S70

Superb Estate - V70

Just what I think seem close comparisons.
