Beauty is in the eye of the beholder owner!

Fixed that for you.

Most of us defend the car we own, even if it is a bit odd looking. ;)

+1.

I think that the fact its taken you until November to notice they were even making the Fabia vRS estate is part of its success. Let be honest, Skoda's, even the vRSs aren't supposed to be cool - that is what Seat is for. They're the slightly off the wall choice offering a better blend of practicality, performance, economy.

I can't even think of any rivals to the Fabia vRS estate?

That is exactly the point of the vRS range.

Performance AND practicality with a good dose of economy thrown in for good measure.

In terms of size yes, they do all match up but looks?

I very nearly bought a v50 instead of the octy, the r-design ones look smart but i wanted another vag but all round great car

Doubt there is that much difference in performance too, maybe the Volvo being a slightly bit quicker. Tbh in looks, we used to have a 2000 Reg V70 T5 and I thought it was epic! Go down the motorway and watch people slow down as you overtook them, as it looked like an unmarked police car :D.

Thing is, if you get rid of the back bit, so follow the curve swage line down the C-pillar... you get:

:giggle: now that is an ugly car, and a BMW too. shame
