Today I let the Missus Drive

Featured Replies

So today was the first time she was let loose with my car.

Not that she is a bad driver, or that I mind but it was a bit un-nerving!

I always offered her to drive my last car which was worth alot more money aswell, but still the day has come!

Bonus was that I got to do a drive by shot! :giggle::thumbup:

lol :)

My misses ahsn't driven ours yet, and if I get it my way she won't for a while longer

?? Why !! Wife's are built to wash dishes and wipe snot of the little ones, they can't manage more than 2 things at the time, that why they tend to stay in first gear and rev the boll@cks or the engine ;)

Could you possible speak to my Missus emoticon-0114-dull.gif

any car i buy the misses hates so it makes my life easier :giggle:

My wife will drive anything, I've had 260bhp Scoobies, Cossie's, Turbo Technics 4x4 2.9V6 Sierra, V8 off roaders and a few 150mph+ saloons. Manual, conventional auto, semi-auto (Alfa Selespeed), DSG (Wet and Dry), petrol, diesel, turbo petrol, turbo diesel, supercharged petrol she's drove them all.

But for her own car for the last 11 years she's had Fabias.

Still don't trust her with the alloys though.

She wont tow a trailer either

Cheers

Lee

My wife's never driven anything more powerful than a low power diesel before now and has never been interested in bhp. I bought her the 105bhp Monte in September. She won't admit it but clearly she's quite enjoying the extra performance as her driving style has completely changed.

Still don't trust her with the alloys though.

Here here! My bloody wife wrecked the alloys the first time she drove it, she even wrecked the alloys on a Yeti we had on loan

Sigh... Gonna buy her a defender one of these days

Actually SWMBO is more than capable of sustained cruising at 3 figure speeds (on the (Scottish) continent) whilst I have a snooze, but then she is an ex-biker chick.

I have already got her Christmas prezzie!

A luvly new dishcloth. Its ultra absorbent and everything.

What dear? I’m just typing. Nothing. No of course its not about you. Aaarrghff. Get off. Get off me. Blurgghhhfff...

Our vrs is the only car in the household so she uses it for work during the week then i get to play during the evenings and weekends B) But having said that she did manage to kurb a wheel after a month of ownership but she paid for a re-furb and bought me some booze to numb the pain

It was my wife's birthday:

I bought her a belt and a new bag...the vacuum cleaner never worked so well!

She hates Skodas (probably why I bought one), I can't imagine that she'll ever drive it or want to.

SWMBO got rid of a Rover 200 hatch a few months after buying it because "it seemed too big"

Then she wonders why I won't let her drive the Octavia estate
