Thanks for that, I had an idea about making them into LED-versions aswell.

Too much work tho since it's not flat =/.

Having a minor update here for you.

Working on the exhaust-manifold and smoothing it out properly, I have to say that I'm pretty satisfied with the work there.

I've also shown my winter-car (Hyundai Coupé) some love, gave it new spark-plugs this weekend and will be giving it a proper service soon.

Still searching for a software-supplier, I want to have full confidence in them otherwise I'd rather cancel the project.

Not that I will let that happen, Germany is just around the corner ;).

Are you still stock at the moment?

The car is still stock at the moment (apart from the exhaust and intake ofc).

very nice! look forward to seeing this progress, plans seem good!

Just thought I might have a quick update in the thread :

The chase for an software-supplier is FINALLY over, I'm pretty sure that I've found one that I can depend on!

I'm also on a hunt for some tyres & rims for the Fabia, let me just say that it won't be what I've been planning for ;).

I've researched about water/meth injection, but I'm skipping that idea...

Better get steady power then acid inside the engine!!!

ooooo new rims?...... *waits for hunt to be over* :D

Well, I can always reveal it here... not like anyone off the swedish competitors will see this x).

Dont think we'd get away with those tyres on Her Majesties Highway. Nice project though, and I'm liking the painted turbo!

I'm pretty sure we won't get away with them on our roads aswell!

I could always cut a pattern in them :p.

They aren't for road-use tho, 402m only ;).

Thanks for the likeing!

they will be awesome for the 1/4 mile. The only issues with slicks is you'll start to highlight the soft nature of the Fabia chassis.

ie

Engine mounts which are pretty soft and allow alot of engine movment under acceleration so id expect wheel hop could become an issue. Im trying to persuade companies to develop a nice stiff lower mount, but they are all concentrating on other projects currently

I get a fair bit of wheel hop if my tyres are cold. Its a horrible feeling. I think its because the Dunlops I have are so hard but im not too sure.

Yeah, pretty much the best there is for 1/4 and 1/8. I'm pretty sure tho that bouncing will be the least off problems, probably drive-shafts or joints first :p!

Well, when you're replacing the Dunlops I suggest the Federal RSR-595.

Grips like mad until you overheat them!

I agree. Its your 60ft times that will increase there. Easily below 5 second 0-60mph. After that they are wasted, just make sure you get them warm or you'll be on the spot spinning your wheels

I think I solved any further problems with the grip...

"New drag racing wheels and tires for them.

Still waiting for the Pace Products to be in touch regarding information about their water cooling and intercooled, but getting tired of waiting"

Number 7 on garaget.org's list over the highest rated Skodas in Sweden!

ONWARDS AND UPWARDS!!!!

That's definitely Göteborg. I have no idea what part though, but I recognize those buildings.

Also, this car isn't "HulkOn", is it?

It is in Göteborg, Frölunda Torg.

And yes... This is indeed HulkOn ;).

Ah, I should've known that. But now I know why I recognized it.

Now, I freely admit that I've never been a big fan of the MK2 Fabias, but this one looks great. I mean, the reason I dislike them so much is 'cause they're so round, cute and cuddly. As opposed to the boxy MK1's. But this one looks like its saying, "You either get outta me way, or I'll run yer arse over." Damn, I love VRS Skodas...
