i can see your point and it is alittle mad they should put some larger objects there to stop it happening

It's nothing to do with that, I just think either do it fairly or not at all... I have no problem coming last if everything is fair but if someone with a slower car and a worse driver beats me and is considered better because they cheated then yes it bothers me. If it doesn't affect you then I see no reason why we're doing this, why not all just book a normal track day where "it's not a race" (as I've heard so many times before)?

A valid point and i agree entirely - i'd rather spend a day driving a proper race track than doing an hour then timed laps.

However when we've tried to group book attendence at trackdays before the uptake has been really poor; yet the 15 minutes at Combe always sells out.

I can but assume that this event being somewhere in the middle with reduced costs, and reduced running time, balanced out by the timed laps has tweaked peoples interest.

You've seen first hand though that the list of almost 40 "yes i'll be theres" has struggled to get to 14 actual attendees!

That said maybe we now have more willing members and Briskoda attended trackdays are a possiblity.

Should this go without hitch when the summer trackday season comes around i'll more than happily try to get a group booked into a proper track day!

A full on Briskoda only track day (Cadwell Park, anyone?) would be so sweet.

For value for money, you can't really beat the airfield days around Bath area for £100. Full open pit all day (apart from perhaps 1 hour of 20 min sessions first thing)

Indeed! I often struggle to come up with the cash, but I'll always commit to what I can. Some people seem to love the idea but suddenly get cold feet when it comes to more than just copy/pasting a list and adding a name.

If I stick a Skoda badge on front and back and one of the "It's a Skoda. Honest" stickets on the windscreen, can I come along?

Tracks Abingdon, Hullavington, Keevil etc (airfield tracks) have good surfaces but I don't like the whole "make circuit out of cones" idea.

15 minutes at Combe is brilliant as facilities are good and it's a proper track
