Thanks mate, it was mainly replacing the new warped discs, sorting the sticky calipers, changing the spark plugs & coil packs & optimising the rocket pack.

Unbelievably I got my coils done on a recal last week!!!!! Free of charge hahahahaha

New exhaust fitted which makes a difference although the Skoda technicians didn't approve of some of my mods

Yes, that's exactly what I'll do! Although since Beryl was owned by an AA man I'd assume that he would've been aware of the recall?

It's only a recent thing mate although they did have a coilpack recall back in 2005 I think, they've got another one that started with Audi 1.8Ts last year and is now covering all VAG 1.8T's to replace any that don't have R or D at the end of the part no. on the coil pack:

Apologies Mr Cliff sir, that'd be my fault! It is sorta thread related though, ie, car no worky properly, Simey spectating only!
