Well, here's a benchmark time for you all from the 'How Fast' Leaderboard. The fastest Skoda on any of the these events.

Is he a Brisky Boy?

As the owner of the mongrel, most powerful diesel Fabia on Brisky I think we are expecting rather more... no pressure. :D

Plus half your interior seems to have fallen out. :giggle:

I'll take it nice and easy on the track

ive been driving a galaxy 90bhp for the last year so stepping into a stage 1 octy for the first time on track im sure to be near the back but hey ho its all fun :p

probably safely say you wont be......my other name is captain slow! Anyone that has been to castle combe action days will vouch!

We could have a mini comp/bet on who will be the slowest! I'd put a fiver on the Beryl. :D

He's a journalist for evo magazine.

They are running an estate on their fleet.

It was their feature where they put their entire fleet (inlucding VW Caravelle/Transporter) that gave me the idea for this

They are running an estate on their fleet.

That should be a pretty good benchmark time then.

They've probably been round there a fair few times and know it reasonably well.

I sent him a mail yesterday to let him know about the day and if he would like to join the group for a play.

I know EVO run their cars round Bedford for comparison in the magazine but is the EVO test track the same as the How fast set up?

yep same track - the "West Circuit"

The Fabia time was run at a How Fast event exactly the same as "our" one held exclusively for the evo fast fleet

Come on people get booked in!!!

Im really tempted, but i feel ill just be a mobile chicane for you faster guy as im only running a standard setup. :-/

Ilmor

There will always be someone slower than you and there will always be someone faster as well. It's not serious racing! Have a go, it's fun.

Briskoda How Fast on the 7th May

ok thanks will book up this saturday when i get payed

I wouldn't worry Mate i'm another with a bog standard car, when your being timed on track your on your own.

plus there is a briefing about the Do's and Don'ts,if it rains it might suit the unmods better ;)

Ive never done anything like this in a car before so im just going along for the experience and to have a laugh.

It looks to be about a safe and minimal risk as it can be. Plenty of run off room, like minded people that are all for the same kind of day and will look out for each other. And you push the car as hard as you want to so no real problems with anything going bang on your car. Sound like a winning combination to me B)

Get booked up! :)
