As said already no firm dates in hand as there is no point saying "yes we'll do it on X day" if there isn't enough interest to go ahead anyways.

We'd hopefully be looking at late spring/early summer (think May/June) but am yet to hear back from MSV on potential dates.

Agree with faboka though it doesn't have to be a Fabia-fest we can have some of those silly bigger petrol drinking VRS's too

I wouldn't even TRY it at the moment with the manifold going NACK NACK NACK every time I use full power. It needs work, end of. Just hoping its a very quick exercise, and Darkside get on with developing the 22 series hybrid turbo.

never done a track day so give me the goods and bads

missed your post yesterday

Bear in mind that this is differnet from just a track day as the afternoon features a timed lap competition.

You get an hour long session in the morning to learn the track.

This session will be lmiited to 20 cars on track so you should have plenty of space and time to learn.

Then in the afternoon a timing module is stuck to the front of your car and you get a warm up lap, 2 flying laps to set your fastest time and then a cool down lap.

Times are logged and a leaderboard of drivers is created.

The times are also posted online for the world to see!

Current fastest (and only) Skoda is a mk2 Fabia VRS estate owned by evo magazine @ 1:36.10

Make sure you use the green tree air freshener, it's good for 50bhp. That should give you 250bhp.......Oh and pump the tyres up.

Those who have back seats, fold them flat. Good for another 20BHP. Lowers the centre of gravity y'know
