My in laws live just up the road from a driving test centre and I have seen 3 or 4 different instructors with VRSs driving past their house.

I was shocked when I saw a Corsa VXR leaner car around my area a few months ago!!! But since then I've also seen a Focus ST! What's going on!

The view out the back window is terrible IMO lol I think all the flash cars are just a way to get more learned. Works well I want to learn in a Vxr or st or vrs lol

I've seen a few Mk1 Fabia vRS driving school cars around Middlesbrough. Yep, Sharkrider uses his Mk2 vRS as a driving school car. He has had fitted a brake peddle on the passenger side plus an extra mirror. The only thing is, being an automatic if you pass in his you can't drive a manual car.

BTW, I learned to drive on a Subaru.

Whats changed over the years? - I learned in Glasgow in the late 60's , mostly in a mini 850 ,but occasionally I got the treat of a Lotus Cortina as my training car -way before I got near sitting my test ..

I agree. When my car was in the garage getting the new turbo fitted I was driving my mum's Clio and thats when I realised how bad the view is for reverse parking etc.

I see one when I picked up my SE from Yorkshire on the way back to Kent. Think It was Doncaster I got mine from.
