Superb2.5tdi to an Octavia 2.0tdi

Featured Replies

Looks like my stepfather will be taking the plunge.Swapping(possibly) his 2 yr old superb 2.5 tdi, leather heated seats, all the extras,22k on the clock for a demo 2.0tdi elegance(no leather) with (I think) about 4k on the clock. It is just a few months old and being driven by one of the sales team

These are estimates but I think he is being offered about

Whats his reason for swapping?

With that sort of px price I would keep the Superb.

He went to the garage for a minor repair and the salesman just mentioned his Octavia was 'released' from 1st April and would he be interested in buying

He feels like he is getting a new car in effect for free as it were.Probably a year ahead of his plans though.

I do think he made a mistake having the 2.5tdi as his driving habits don't merit the engine(short journeys etc).He should have gone for the 1.9tdi.

Difficult to call really.Perhaps stick it for another year.Havn't checked any values for him yet
