I've been on the cusp between black and silver ever since I decided I would order a vRS. I really love black, but I can understand all the points about keeping it clean being a pain. And the Mrs prefers silver.

Every time I see each one I change my mind back again - d'oh!

No offence to anyone here - this is just my personal point of view.

Red - as it is a solid colour it just looks flat

Silver - every other car on the road is silver

Yellow - Really???? The only car I have ever seen looking good in Yellow is Ferrari

Black - it looks wicked when its clean, and as it is metallic it has really good depth and shine.

Mine goes like a Ferrari

Silver looks the best to my eye. Black looks superb (in the Summer when it's mint). Not fussed on the gloss colours. The silver makes the lines stand out, shading etc.

I'm getting my black vrs on wednesday. Didn't have a choice of colour as it was a demo but I've always wanted a black vrs. Having seena few silver ones made me want a silver vrs recently though.

Red - looks nice but its a solid colour.

Yellow - fugly, defo one for the girts (imo!). Does suit the black leather seats well though.

Silver - very nice, stays cleaner for longer and hides swirls/chips etc. Looks flat when polished though. Black leather seats go best with the contrasting silver imo.

Black - looks fantastic when polished/waxed and sealed properly. Comes up like a mirror. When it's dirty it just blends in, makes having your car clean occasionally that extra special lol. The white bits in the seats contrasts well with the black too.
