really nice! are they of any car exactly, i have seen 312 brembos on older porsches.

These exact ones are from an Alfa Romeo Brera, but they can also be found on the Alfa Romeo Spyder. Not sure if anyones ever fitted them to a fabia before..

Do you mind me asking you where got the brake hoses from?

They were made by these guys.

If you talk to them they should be able to help you out

Gorgeous new brakes bud, I commented on instagram about them.

They will look stunning once on, and should be a good upgrade in the brake department too.

I ran the LCR Brembos in my old Seat Ibiza Cupra, wish I had of kept them tbh.

Brembos! My front discs and pads both needed replacing so made sense to upgrade now.

Freshly refurbished calipers, they look like new though.

Although they aren't the normal LCR brembos which people normally fit. These are monobloc whereas LCR ones arent :) These also run 312mm discs rather than 323mm.

Going to be fitted with mintex pads and ebc discs, and also fitting custom made brake lines.

HOW MUCH MONEY DO YOU HAVE?! AH HA

Thanks for the offer! 2 hour drive from me though.. If im ever going to be that way though I'll take you up on the offer :)

what do you think of the stage 2 though? worth it?

it is sooo worth it, combined with the piper exhaust it is simply stunning. The pull is excellent and the noise! It is soo addictive.

Thanks for the comments guys.

After what seems like such a long wait, I'm taking the car to a mates garage tomorrow to fit the brakes, and also give it a service while I'm there.

Thought while I was replacing the brakes I might aswell replace the splashguards.

Also finally got round to ordering a lower engine mount. Went for the 65k Powerflex one as I use the car daily so the less vibration the better. After seeing all the reviews on these I'm very much looking forward to driving it to see the difference it makes.

Also had the Cambelt and Waterpump changed this week.

PowerFlex Lower Engine Mount -

Since having this fitted I have definitely noticed some changes, from what I had heard from people who had this fitted already that was the gear changes were noticeable better, I did notice that it was slightly better/smother changing gear but not to the extent of what I was expecting. The differences I noticed which were far more noticeable were that the traction when accelerating from 2nd is far better, it was far easy to be able to put the power down. It also felt slightly more responsive.

Brembo Brakes-

Well the brakes are absolutely incredible, it still surprises how short the distance is in which they can stop the car. If anybody is ever in the area I'll be happy to demonstrate them to people :). The only slight problem is that if I really brake hard then the front spiltter scraps along the ground.. ops! :giggle:

I have 15mm spacers on, which leaves me with about 9mm clearance between the caliper and the wheel.

Removed the extension from the oil cap, thanks to Jason for telling me how to do this! :)

One of my favourites thing about my car is the paintwork, I've used no products in 2 months on it, and only gave it wash today.

Thanks for the comments guys.

I'm pretty happy with how the exterior is now. Engine bay next! :)

That last picture looks great. Would love to have a garage that size, well would love a garage full stop lol. Great work mate.

Thanks! being able to use a garage definitely does make it much nicer to work on through the winter.

Hey Jack, looks wicked mate!

Don't spose you have the splash guard/heat shield part numbers do you mate :)?

1J0615311B and 1J0615312B, They are 312mm ones from a mk4 golf, I assume they will fit but im not 100% sure, and I haven't tried yet. :)

Absolutely stunning car.

What colour are your wheels?? I'm thinking about having mine a darker colour when i get them refurbed. :)

They are anthracite, which is sort of between gunmetal and black. I can take some more pictures of them if you would like to see the colour more :)
