DDN was originally York then was it?

Yes, York had 'DN' as its registration mark, hence 'DDN' would be a York mark.

Yes Cheshire sorry. We do the walk from the Cat n Fiddle sometimes, takes in the 3 shires of Derbys, Staffs and Cheshire,  nice walking and scenic.
