Where do i get them ???

And does it fit perfect without

Touching

Lifting

Pushing

Pulling

Or moving the bonnet at all

im lookin into getting a s3 strut brace hopefully i wont have any issues fitting,

€82 here in irl dunno what they are in the uk but theyll be cheaper any how.

I've got an S3 strut brace, made by Audi, in my front porch.

Still can't work up the guts to fit it...

S3 brace is perfect fit.

Audi S3 (1997- 2003)

Part Number :- 8L9 - 805 -629A from Audi main dealer (£52.57 Note: 2008 price)

Smallest clearance to underside of bonnet was about 10mm using blu-tac to check gap.

S3 brace fit well

Any Chance of having a look/pic of where the bolts sit on both sides? I think I know where lloyd is going with this..... as if the bolt holes are same place then happy days.

Defo the one, im sure i wont be lucky enough for holes to match but i could fill them and they be covered bt the s3 bar so will never be seen

Might still ho thru my jabba sheild where i cut it :(

No it's in the same place - same on Golfs, Beetles etc.

Only issue is the bar rubs on the engine cover.

In the end I trimmed the cover where the dump valve is.

could you just put a nut and bolt in the hole to cover it up or is it going to be partailly covered by the s3 brace?

audi tt brace very similar to the s3 one and easy to pick up second hand

Any close up pics of that tt bar on each end mate

I'm 99% sure it's identical to the S3 one.
